Code of Conduct

River Ridge Brewing is committed to being a brewery for all - from the beer geek in the city to the farmer down the road, we believe that everyone deserves an inclusive, quality craft brewery experience while being treated with respect and dignity.

Any employee, guest, or vendor must:

Contribute to an environment that is free of hostile and offensive behaviors. Harassment in any form is unacceptable. We are committed to providing an atmosphere free of discrimination towards all people.

Treat all individuals respectfully, and recognize their dignity regardless of their diverse characteristics.

Be respectful of others opinions, and use positive and constructive techniques to address conflict.

All employees and guests should feel comfortable speaking out without fear of retaliation.

River Ridge Brewing reserves the right to ask any guest, employee, or vendor violating this code of conduct to leave the premises.

If you believe you have been subjected to or have witnessed behavior that violates this policy, immediately report such behavior to a manager. Upon receiving a report, we will act promptly in conducting a fair and thorough investigation. Every report of misconduct or harassment will be taken seriously, and appropriate and effective action will be taken to address the situation. In addition, crisis hotline phone numbers, including Iowa Sexual Harassment & Violence, are posted in employee areas of the brewery.

Customers who believe they have been subjected to any kind of discrimination, from an employee or fellow customer, that conflicts with River Ridge Brewing’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism policies and initiatives can and should report incidents to our team by emailing us at info@riverridgebrewing.com.
